The Sudden!Family Event!

What's this? Those two are sisters? But they don't look anything like each other! And wait--since when were those guys over there father and son?

As usual, the complex is playing pranks on it's inhabitants. This time though, it's going a step further and messing with people's memories! How so? Seems it's decided to make everyone play house. Suddenly characters will find themselves with new relatives--or at least they'll think their related. Age might not even be a factor, if you wanna go extra crazy with this.

Brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins... even spouses and children! Suddenly your character is a part of a big happy family~ Characters affected will believe this is how it's ALWAYS been. Of course, maybe your character isn't affected. In which case they probably think the whole place has gone nuts--which it has, really.

Comment with characters you want involved. If you want, give preferences. What relatives you want or if you just want your character to be an unaffected bystander. For bonus insanity, you can even have one character be convinced their related while their new 'relative' has no idea what their talking about.

[Sadly, it hasn't occurred to Gamzee that any good self-respecting home comes without a beach. Though we'll grant he didn't spend as much time on his back home with his neighbors...

It starts to dawn on him that he's not in his hive, and he's probably landlocked.

His excited face falls.

DATE NIGHT IS RUINED!

He'd better think of something quick before Tavros notices, otherwise he'll want to leave, and not having Tavros leave seems very very important right now.

If he were prone to introspection--which he isn't, because introspection can get very crowded in his head, until it becomes more like a congress--he'd realize ow different this sort of behavior is even for him. Usually he's chill with the idea of casually exploring quadrants, and would let Tavros go and do the same.

But right now...
He's not.
Right now it's absolutely crucial that you find him interesting, pitiable, anything!

It's dimly unsettling, but no less urgent, somehow.

He thinks of something.]



[His hands are shaking, palms oozing pale violet sweat. Just a pie and he'll be fine. Ice cream seems like a good distraction. Something that will keep Tavros there while he gets his fix.

It's really tearing him up having to choose between his fix and his matesprit.]

[Actualy if they just looked accross the street there's a park with a sandbox. It's no beach, but sand castles are totaly possible. Not that Tavros knows this, yet. He hasn't been exploring much.]



[Well, at least Gamzee isn't trying to offer him the pies. Usualy it's the pies. And he'd really rather never relive that time he actualy tried one...]



[And Gamzee isn't freaking out, even if he is shaking pretty bad. Tavros doesn't care what they do, as long as it helps Gamzee calm down and chill out.]
