What's this? Those two are sisters? But they don't look anything like each other! And wait--since when were those guys over there father and son?
As usual, the complex is playing pranks on it's inhabitants. This time though, it's going a step further and messing with people's memories! How so? Seems it's decided to make everyone play house. Suddenly characters will find themselves with new relatives--or at least they'll think their related. Age might not even be a factor, if you wanna go extra crazy with this.
Brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins... even spouses and children! Suddenly your character is a part of a big happy family~ Characters affected will believe this is how it's ALWAYS been. Of course, maybe your character isn't affected. In which case they probably think the whole place has gone nuts--which it has, really.
Comment with characters you want involved. If you want, give preferences. What relatives you want or if you just want your character to be an unaffected bystander. For bonus insanity, you can even have one character be convinced their related while their new 'relative' has no idea what their talking about.

RS:BE A HAPPY PAPA!
Date: 2011-11-20 04:36 am (UTC)So this is where you were. Having fun?
WV: Be freaked the heck out. Mutely. Politely.
Date: 2011-11-21 12:34 am (UTC)He blinks rapidly protesting as quickly as he can, while still freaking the heck out in pretty much every way.
This wasn't covered in his etiquette book. Then again, he might have eaten this particular page where large, soft, but still threatening pink humans pick you up and make alarming and violent spacecraft noises while moving you both around in the air.
The fact he's child-sized is hardly going to occur to him, after all.
He blinks for dear life.
Again, Raikou doesn't seem to understand.
Despairing, but not enough to drop his mayorly politeness, (He is a public figure after all, and as such must handle all displays of adulation with grace and poise) he'll be continuing to flail with all his weak, pathetic digits, dirty bedsheet flapping around his knees.
Sure, his rigid black carapace should protect him from most things, but an uncanny innate ability to measure distances isn't necessarily a reassuring thing to have when you're being hoisted off the ground by a perfect stranger when you're innocently defending lost cans from profound peril and the unknown, and giving them new homes in your town.
Serenity blinks concern or her mayorly friend, zipping around both of your heads. WV sends her for help with more rapid blinking, and the little firefly zooms off into the complex in search of others willing to assist, and capable of speaking blinking. Wayward Vagabond feels rather gloomy at the prospects there, but can't let himself fret.
A good mayor should always have a clear head for making decisions, and be willing to face the unknown with bravery.]

Date: 2011-11-21 01:38 am (UTC)Isn't this good fun? But my arms are getting tired. I'm going to have to put you down now.
[But this is probably not entirely a comfort, because once he's set you down he's going to examine those cans, picking them up and checking to see if their empty. It seems a real shame to him to just waste good food. He's planning to eat or drink the contents and return the can to his son.]
You really have a big collection now. You've been working hard, haven't you?

Date: 2011-11-21 01:45 am (UTC)Could it be that these are overtures of friendship?
He lets the human person inspect his cans.
They're all good loyal citizens.
he's proud of them.
He scoots along on his polished knees, picking up his dropped citizens. A few seem dented. This is tragedy. He'll have to give them some sort of medal for services to their city, and bravery in the face of the unknown.
Considering he's been picking them out of the garbage and such, they're all empty cans.
It's not like emptying a can kills it or anything.]

Date: 2011-11-21 02:18 am (UTC)You know, if you like building so much there are toys like that. They'd probably be more fun than cans.
[Not that he sees anything wrong with his son playing with cans. Even if they are from the trash.]

Date: 2011-11-21 02:22 am (UTC)Abandon his citizens? He could never do such a thing!
He drops all his cans immediately so he can point out his sash to you.
He's a good mayor. One who would never oppress or ignore the cries of his beloved people.
Unlike kings.
Oh does he hate kings.]
