When you wake up today, everything's different. It seems like you're no longer in the complex but in reality, the entire complex has changed. Instead of being a bunch of apartments, now it's turned into a creepy, giant castle-like haunted mansion. The floor boards creek when you walk on them and you could swear someone is behind you, following you. You even hear occasional creeks that you didn't make. An eerie fog has settled over the area, adding to the disturbing feeling.

Through the walls, ceilings, and floors wandering spirits appear to moan and groan. They might be people you used to know and died or just random ghosts. Either way, be careful not to get spotted by them or you'll be haunted all day and night. Zombies are wandering through the halls, some moving ridiculously fast and others dragging their legs slowly. Don't get too close, though. They are actually effected by a virus and you might get infected for a while if you're bitten. Be careful opening the closets too. Seems that vampire bats have taken roost in there and their masters aren't too far away either. Don't mind the howling outside either. That's just the wolves and werewolves making themselves at home.

And of course, that says nothing of the many pranksters roaming the halls, intent on making the most of this holiday. Halloween has indeed arrived and it seems the whole complex has been invited to join in the celebration with most peculiar guests. Vampires, werewolves, zombies and ghosts--oh my! This Halloween is sure to be frightfully interesting. The banshee in the attic that screams at odd intervals isn't helping the situation either. Eerie music waifs through the air but there are other songs playing as well. Who knew there was an actual zombie song? And those statues… You could swear they were moving when you weren't look--ahhh!

[ooc: Bitten, scratched, or phased through most of the effects should end with Halloween night. If the mun desires, though, of course the effects can last longer. Also, if already effected it's possible to reverse said effects for one night as well.]

Windything really is a lot less practical indoors, but how would John forget that really weird dude who kept making all those Lion King references?

YOINK.

Lifting you up like it's the circle of life, Allen.

Grinning flying kid just grins as you swoop over and past a load of zombies.

He sure seems honest and sincere, even if he's dressed like something out of legend of zelda... Houses getting invaded by low level evil underlings happen all the time. He knows how it is.

That gets a wide-eyed blink, as John sets you both down in a different part of the complex which seems, thus far, to be zombie-free.

He adds that last bit while looking up and down the halls, as if expecting undead hordes to come after the both of you. It seems to have slipped his mind that you might not actually know what gist is, or not be part of the game, or that this might still be earth. There are zombies here. Zombies are important to any thirteen-year-old boy.

It sure would be great to zillyhoo a few things. That hammer is just so cool...

While he's seen a lot of really improbable weapon specibii, ARMKIND is definitely one he hasn't seen before.

Then again, this seems to correspond with a lot of really old canon running gags John would be completely oblivious to about retrieving your arms from drawers and such.

Have your arm admired and turned this way and that, Allen.

Someone has been whacking zombies with a book left and right as he makes his way down the hall. His life has enough horror in it, thankyou very much. He doesn't need zombies. He brings his Lexicon down on a zombie's head--right in front of Allen. And immeadiatly freezes as the zombie falls and he spots Allen. Well, that's the last thing either of you needs right now, probably.

"Allen..."

Not what he needs right now. At least Heartless is quiet for once. Likely the beastie is remembering how pissed Yuu was when she heard about what nearly happened to Allen. The creature has gone dead silent. Almost... sulking.

Zexion hesitates. Should he just walk away? But no--that would do no good. And these zombies are being a pain. He smacks another one down on his right as he tries to decide what to do. It's hard to focus on anything here. But he's sure Allen will freak out on him if he tries to touch the boy to lead him away to someplace safer.

"Allen, we have to talk." He finaly says, as gentle as he can. "But not here. It will be impossible to hold a conversation with these things around."

As though to emphasize his point, a zombie lurches at him and he strikes it down.

"I understand that you don't trust me. But, please let me explain. And... and appologize properly."

He doesn't expect his trust. In fact, he'd be worried if Allen did trust him easily after what happened. He remains at a distance and makes no move to approach Allen.

"It doesn't matter. Just someplace away from these. Perhaps the kitchen?"

It's nice a public so he's hoping Allen will feel safer there. Hopefully it's not filled with zombies too...

Once in the kitchen he settles down, pulling a chair out a ways from the table so that if Allen decides to sit he won't have to be anywhere near him. This should proove to be difficult. He's no good with appologies. But Allen certainly deserves it and... well, Zexion does feel bad about what happened. Allen has been very good to him in the time he's known him. Perhaps even someone he may have come to see as a friend in time.

"I won't make excuses for what happened. Whether it was me who attacked you or not, it was still my own fault that it happened. I also don't really expect forgiveness. But I felt that I owed you a sincere appology for it, nonetheless."

He gives a soft sigh.

"I truely am sorry, Allen. For putting you in a situation where you were at risk and for frightening you."

He doesn't know what else to say. He wants to put Allen's mind at ease and let him know it won't happen again, but he can't even convince himself of that.

He was being honest when he said he didn't expect forgiveness. He's just here to let Allen know he's sorry. And to try to put Allen at ease. He doesn't say anything on the topic of beating himself up over it. He isn't nearly as forgiving as Allen, and with himself he's even harsher about withholding it.

"I would be lying if I said I had the control to keep it from occuring again. But you won't have to worry. I won't be here much longer. I'll be leaving until this is sorted out, so as to avoid such occurances happening again. There are people who are in no danger from me because they lack what this creature in me craves. They'll keep me in check until a time when it can be removed and destroyed."
