When you wake up today, everything's different. It seems like you're no longer in the complex but in reality, the entire complex has changed. Instead of being a bunch of apartments, now it's turned into a creepy, giant castle-like haunted mansion. The floor boards creek when you walk on them and you could swear someone is behind you, following you. You even hear occasional creeks that you didn't make. An eerie fog has settled over the area, adding to the disturbing feeling.
Through the walls, ceilings, and floors wandering spirits appear to moan and groan. They might be people you used to know and died or just random ghosts. Either way, be careful not to get spotted by them or you'll be haunted all day and night. Zombies are wandering through the halls, some moving ridiculously fast and others dragging their legs slowly. Don't get too close, though. They are actually effected by a virus and you might get infected for a while if you're bitten. Be careful opening the closets too. Seems that vampire bats have taken roost in there and their masters aren't too far away either. Don't mind the howling outside either. That's just the wolves and werewolves making themselves at home.
And of course, that says nothing of the many pranksters roaming the halls, intent on making the most of this holiday. Halloween has indeed arrived and it seems the whole complex has been invited to join in the celebration with most peculiar guests. Vampires, werewolves, zombies and ghosts--oh my! This Halloween is sure to be frightfully interesting. The banshee in the attic that screams at odd intervals isn't helping the situation either. Eerie music waifs through the air but there are other songs playing as well. Who knew there was an actual zombie song? And those statues… You could swear they were moving when you weren't look--ahhh!
[ooc: Bitten, scratched, or phased through most of the effects should end with Halloween night. If the mun desires, though, of course the effects can last longer. Also, if already effected it's possible to reverse said effects for one night as well.]

Allen/Zexion--Haunted House Confrontation
Date: 2011-11-01 05:10 am (UTC)"Wh-where would you l-like to go?" Allen only stutters twice, barely noticeable compared to his normal stutter. He'll listen. He won't trust him again so easily. That will take a while still, regaining his trust, but he'll at least listen to what he has to say.
Re: Allen/Zexion--Haunted House Confrontation
Date: 2011-11-01 05:15 am (UTC)"It doesn't matter. Just someplace away from these. Perhaps the kitchen?"
It's nice a public so he's hoping Allen will feel safer there. Hopefully it's not filled with zombies too...
Re: Allen/Zexion--Haunted House Confrontation
Date: 2011-11-01 05:23 am (UTC)Allen nods mutely and gestures for him to lead the way. He won't turn his back on Zexion. Not while he still isn't sure he's notdangerous.
The kitchen, when they arrive at it, is thankfully free of zombies. A few ghosts are milling about but they aren't paying them any attention. Allen fixes Zexion with a gaze that clearly says 'talk' although he still doesn't break the silence.
Re: Allen/Zexion--Haunted House Confrontation
Date: 2011-11-01 09:21 am (UTC)"I won't make excuses for what happened. Whether it was me who attacked you or not, it was still my own fault that it happened. I also don't really expect forgiveness. But I felt that I owed you a sincere appology for it, nonetheless."
He gives a soft sigh.
"I truely am sorry, Allen. For putting you in a situation where you were at risk and for frightening you."
He doesn't know what else to say. He wants to put Allen's mind at ease and let him know it won't happen again, but he can't even convince himself of that.
Re: Allen/Zexion--Haunted House Confrontation
Date: 2011-11-01 09:35 am (UTC)He blinks at Zexion for a moment before looking down. He thinks carefully for a minute, choosing his words. "I, I understand. At l-least, a little bit anyways." His smile is awkward and hurt. He hasn't sat down and he keeps his back to the door, ready to make a run for it at any moment. "St-still, it would have been n-nice if you warned me first. I have s-some experience with such th-things, so I'd have at l-least known what to expect b-but being caught off g-guard like that…"
He takes a deep breath. "I understand s-so don't beat yourself up over i-it too much, okay?" Still, he says nothing of forgiveness. Even kind, forgiving Allen can't just forgive and forget something like that. Not this time.
Re: Allen/Zexion--Haunted House Confrontation
Date: 2011-11-01 09:49 am (UTC)"I would be lying if I said I had the control to keep it from occuring again. But you won't have to worry. I won't be here much longer. I'll be leaving until this is sorted out, so as to avoid such occurances happening again. There are people who are in no danger from me because they lack what this creature in me craves. They'll keep me in check until a time when it can be removed and destroyed."
Re: Allen/Zexion--Haunted House Confrontation
Date: 2011-11-01 10:01 am (UTC)Allen scratches his cheek, the awkward smile never leaving his face. He doesn't comment for a long while. But he can't handle this situation, can't pretend to be okay much longer. It's not visible, not yet, but his hands are shaking. "I-is that so? I, I see. Um, well..." He doesn't know what he's supposed to say. And then, without a word, he's turning and quickly heading for the door. He's out it before he bothers to call back to Zexion over his shoulder. "Th-then, I'll see you when you get b-back."
