So Gau was minding his own business, doing his laundry, when he realized he had help.

From himself.

for_punishment looks up and gives him the same bug-eyed, sour glower.

justice_by_coma opens his mouth, pointing. "You! Your Fuuma illusion tricks won't trick me into telling you anything-!"

"Would you just stop already? I'm not a Fuuma! I'm you! I swear!"

That gets some thought.

"And if you want me to prove it, I'm helping you do our laundry instead of sabotaging things! And I'd never betray Raikou-san's trust in such a way, anyway."

The other him stops. He has to admit, it does sound an awful lot like him. Of course the other side probably does their research-though not nearly as well as him. (Hmph!)

"Hey!" for_punishment snaps, "Don't just sit there! Everything'll get all wrinkled!" He grumbles to himself. "And anyway, you should believe me. There are much weirder things than me."

justice_by_coma wrinkles his nose, seriously doubting this, but not enough that he'll let his oxford shirts get crunchy as the dryer heat leaves them.

for_punishment shakes his head and thinks it's a good thing justice_by_coma hasn't seen what's going on with the iron in the other room.

In the distance one can hear the sound of a cakebakenojutsu chanting "Estus Metallicus Vinctusque! Vinctusque COMMOVEO!." and the unmistakable sound of irons flying through the air to smooth out the rest of the shirts of their own accord.
