When you wake up today, everything's different. It seems like you're no longer in the complex but in reality, the entire complex has changed. Instead of being a bunch of apartments, now it's turned into a creepy, giant castle-like haunted mansion. The floor boards creek when you walk on them and you could swear someone is behind you, following you. You even hear occasional creeks that you didn't make. An eerie fog has settled over the area, adding to the disturbing feeling.

Through the walls, ceilings, and floors wandering spirits appear to moan and groan. They might be people you used to know and died or just random ghosts. Either way, be careful not to get spotted by them or you'll be haunted all day and night. Zombies are wandering through the halls, some moving ridiculously fast and others dragging their legs slowly. Don't get too close, though. They are actually effected by a virus and you might get infected for a while if you're bitten. Be careful opening the closets too. Seems that vampire bats have taken roost in there and their masters aren't too far away either. Don't mind the howling outside either. That's just the wolves and werewolves making themselves at home.

And of course, that says nothing of the many pranksters roaming the halls, intent on making the most of this holiday. Halloween has indeed arrived and it seems the whole complex has been invited to join in the celebration with most peculiar guests. Vampires, werewolves, zombies and ghosts--oh my! This Halloween is sure to be frightfully interesting. The banshee in the attic that screams at odd intervals isn't helping the situation either. Eerie music waifs through the air but there are other songs playing as well. Who knew there was an actual zombie song? And those statues… You could swear they were moving when you weren't look--ahhh!

[ooc: Bitten, scratched, or phased through most of the effects should end with Halloween night. If the mun desires, though, of course the effects can last longer. Also, if already effected it's possible to reverse said effects for one night as well.]

Again with the 'mama' crap. Really, this boy. Kanda sighs in clear annoyance and shifts the pile of blood packets in his arms so they're easier to handle.

"Kanda. Kanda Yuu. Quit crying, chisana danshi." Moyashi was Moyashi but this kid was a sprout too. Calling him small would be perfectly normal. "Who is this idiot person you keep mistaking me for?" Yeah, Kanda's not going to change his attitude any time soon.

He sniffles a little and wipes at his eyes. But the name just causes more confusion. "But that's mama's name too. And don't call her an idiot! Mama's really smart!"

He's a total mama's boy.

So someone's using the same name as him as well. It's not just his appearance they're copying. That's more annoying and worrisome. The only reason it hasn't occurred to him that it might be his double is because the kid appears to be only a few years younger than her. No way she could be his 'mama' then.

He is annoyed by the kid's loyalty to this person though. Really smart, huh? He'll believe it when he sees it. "Mazakon. Mama's boy." He snorted, dismissive of his opinion. "There is only one Kanda Yuu and I'm the original. Here's the proof." He gestured to the partially hidden tattoo on his chest. "You're mama, whoever that is, is an imposter."

"Well, my last name is Kanda. And so is my brother's and sister's. You two look exactly alike, except she's a girl! Maybe your related!"

And when that thought hits him...

"Maybe your my uncle!"

Uncle? He doesn't like the sound of that. Besides, he can't think of anyone he'd consider close enough to be his 'sibling' much less them having kids. "Are you a complete idiot?" Is response to that. "We've never met before. How many people do you know who meet their long-lost uncle by chance?"

He sighs and shakes his head. He grabs Masaru by the collar and begins dragging him behind him as he walks down the corridor. "Fine, we'll find someone to sort this all out for us. Obviously, something strange is going on here."

"Hey! Let go!" He doesn't like being dragged around. He struggles to get away, a little freaked out. "I can walk! Don't drag me!"

There is someone who has just noticed the commotion and looks over curiously. He quickly realizes it's his brother involved.

"Hey! Let go of him!" Attempted kidnapping? Not his brother, you don't! Induce Izumi-Raaaaage!

With casualness that most people can't pull off, especially while carrying several blood packets, he hits them both on the top of the head. He doesn't want to deal with kids but if they're going to go around mistaking him for other people, he ends up feeling responsible for them. A feeling he hates of course.

"Both of you shut up. We're going to find someone who can explain why the hell you would think I was your mother now. And if either of you make me drop these valuable packets I'm going to get pissed." Back to dragging Masaru by the back of his shirt.

"Wah! Izumi! Help!"

Reaching for brother--Masaru doesn't like this mean man!

Now that he gets a good look, this guy does look like his mother. What the hell?? His shock is short lived as he remembers his brother is in danger of being kidnapped.

"Alright, pervert, you've got ten seconds to let go of my brother before I kick your ass."

He may be painfully normal but he will fight tooth and nail to protect his siblings and he thinks Masaru is in serious danger.

Kanda is getting fed up with all this nonsense. He shoots a glare at Izumi. "Don't try it kid. Seriously, you don't want to mess with me. If you want to come along, that's fine. I'm not going to stop you. But try to fight me and man, woman or child, I won't hold back."

With all the struggling and yelling, he's dropped a couple of his blood packets. That pisses him off more. These kids are more trouble than they're worth. "God damn it, I'm finding that idiot Yuu or that other idiot Kitten! One of them can deal with you brats!"

Kitten was walking down the hall, casually following a ghost. She blinks at Kanda and the two boys he has with him.

"Kanda-kun? Why are you dragging a boy after you?" She asks curiously.

Doesn't she look exactly like Mama? Except, you know, a little younger and with cat ears?
